Why I Started My Portfolio Blog as a Business Analyst
Starting this portfolio blog was more than just a creative outlet—it was a way to document my journey as a Business Analyst, reflect on my experiences, and share the insights I gain along the way.
As I navigate through complex datasets, solve real-world problems, and use powerful tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
A Business Analyst’s Journey of Growth and Reflection
In a fast-paced world of data, dashboards, and daily stand-ups, I often found myself craving a space to pause, reflect, and share what I was learning as a Business Analyst. That’s how this blog was born.
I started sakshampulak.work not just as a portfolio showcase, but as a daily journal of my growth — the tools I use, the problems I solve, and the mindset shifts I experience every day.
At Swiggy, where I currently work as a Business Analyst, I deal with large datasets, gig economy challenges, and real-time business decisions.
Before this, I was at GlobalLogic, where I got my first taste of working with structured data and cross-functional teams. Each role taught me something valuable — but none of it was truly captured until now.
This blog is my attempt to:
- Break down complex analytics into simple, human words
- Share what works (and what doesn’t) in real-world business scenarios
- Help beginners who are where I once was
- Keep myself accountable as I learn and grow in this field
Whether you’re a fellow analyst, a beginner trying to land your first role, or just curious about the world behind food delivery dashboards — welcome to my space.
Let’s learn, unlearn, and grow together — one blog at a time. 🙌
📌 Next Up (Day 2): Who Am I? My Story from UpGrad > GlobalLogic > Swiggy
Would you like this in a clean blog HTML/Markdown format for your website too? Or should we go ahead and prep Day 2’s draft next?
